Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join its progressive Family Care Team.
The Nurse Practitioner will exam, assess, plan and implement the healthcare of assigned patients in collaboration and under the general supervision of a licensed physician.
The Nurse Practitioner secures patient histories; performs physical examinations; orders laboratory tests; develops and implements treatment plans; performs diagnostic and treatment procedures; records findings; and provides patient education and counseling to enhance our effectiveness in providing primary care, preventive services and improved community outreach.
Masters of Science in Nursing granted by an accredited college or university, and is certified as or qualified for certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber as defined in Chapter N 8.03 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.
Must have current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, and certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (Wisconsin).
