Ward and Smith, P.A. is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its Greenville office. Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: assisting attorneys in real estate client matters including conducting title examinations involving travel to various court houses in North Carolina; preparing closing packages; recording and filing necessary instruments; preparing and proofreading drafts of correspondence and legal documents; maintaining files; and monitoring the progress of open real estate matters and follow-up to ensure all required actions are completed. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience as a real estate paralegal or similar position. Additional study at a recognized college or institute, including paralegal training is beneficial. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a one hour lunch.
