We are currently seeking an energetic community-based therapist to provide counseling services to our clients & their families. Pro Kids and Families, in collaboration with the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, aims to divert children from official court proceedings by empowering parents and assisting youth with improved social skills.
The Pro-Kids Therapist will provide direct service, maintain therapeutic relationships and monitor progress with all involved parties. When applicable, will provide parents with information on child’s mental health diagnosis, behavior management, household management, communication and relationship enhancement and teach youth social skills. Provide crisis intervention and assist with linkage to med/somatic services as necessary.
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree, LSW / LPC and must be 21 yrs. of age, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & proof of insurance required and computer literacy required.
- LPCC / LISW is highly preferred.
