Guide, train, and lead their team to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of products.
Continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
Verify HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the Pack Out Process.
Direct multiple staff to handle varying production flows of products within the Pack Out Department.
Ability to learn, modify and make adjustments to departmental equipment.
Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and appropriately.
Directly lead multiple employees in the Pack Out area (to include training, planning, assigning and directing work) appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and resolving opportunities.
Must have excellent mechanical ability.
Ability to lead, be a teacher, and create a positive work environment.
Must adhere to posted GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) when working within the production facility.
Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment within their appropriate areas.
If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have mechanical background
