The duties of the Project Manager are to work with the client and the sales team to ensure that the client's project is delivered on time and at, or under budget. The Project Manager will work with the client to provide all project plans, documentation and scheduling for the project to be completed. They will also determine what is provided within scope and what is considered out of scope. They will act as Managed Solution's advocate to ensure that the project is delivered as quickly and as profitably as possible. The Managed Solution Business Development Manager is the Client's first source of contact, so there will be interaction with the BDM on a regular basis.
In addition to providing project delivery, the Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the BDM in finding new opportunities within the client as well as reaching deeper and wider into the organization for further account control. Building relationships with the client's IT staff and upper management is critical and will be a requirement of this position.
The Project Manager will work in the Managed Services business unit at Managed Solution and will be working in small to medium sized businesses. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Operations and will work closely with the Engineering department.
Responsibilities associated with this position include application support, integration, hardware/software procurement, and asset/license management.

Candidate must be able to travel within the San Diego area only, with potential for travel in southern California. Flexibility is a must.

- Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience
- PMI Certification a plus
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Experience with small to medium sized businesses
- Experience with building relationships within client organizations and upselling projects

Excellent written and oral presentation skills
PMP or Systems Integration Experience Desired.
