Job Description:
The incumbent, who reports to the Sr. Director, Strategic Technology under the direction of the Project Control Coordinator, is responsible for verifying the quality and coordinating deployment of all software releases delivered by the Strategic Technology team. This position includes creating test plans, executing test suites, automating regression testing, managing the source code repository, and verifying all deployments. The incumbent would also provide expertise and guidance to colleagues and student assistants performing quality assurance tasks.

Education/Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; minimum of five years of experience in information technology or related field with progressive increase in responsibilities; demonstrated experience implementing software development lifecycle quality assurance best practices; demonstrated experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter, Selenium, Grinder, JUnit, PHPUnit, and Simpletest; demonstrated experience creating and executing comprehensive test plans; experience leading quality assurance for web development and system integration projects; experience with source code management systems such as SVN and Git; experience using scripting languages such as Perl or Bash; experience testing complex system interfaces including webservices.

  • Experience analyzing and debugging software systems
  • Extensive experience with the entire custom application development cycle
  • Experience with continuous integration technology such as Quickbuild, Jenkins, Cruise Control
  • Experience with build system / build tools such as Ant, Phing or Shell script
  • Understanding of Unix infrastructure and enterprise application systems
  • Experience with PeopleSoft ERP integration

Anticipated Hiring Range
$6,166- $8,500 per month ($73,992 - $102,000 annually)
