Quality Control Assistant will hold responsibility for assisting with the managing of all aspects and functions of Quality Control and Quality Assurance for Leehan America. Quality Control Technician will insure product quality while continually striving to improve and exceed company standards. This position will work to establish, implement and continually improve processes and programs associated with all aspects of quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of an effective Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program. Provide quality analyses to the Quality Control Specialist and Sales Manager. Provide direction and guidance for hourly QC Team Members. Assist in the establishment and adherence to Quality Control Standards. Assist with the development of quality inspection reports, checklists, etc. necessary to verify and improve quality control measures. Provide quality planning and assist with the coordination of daily activities of the Quality Control Department. Assist in the establishment of quality policies for inspection and process control. Assist with the development of a Quality Control Strategy for both internal and external needs. Solve quality related problems and issues. Work with production Team Members to resolve quality related issues. Responsible for working with the customer base to resolve quality related issues and providing feedback and follow up. Ability to follow written work instructions, diagrams, etc. Communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization including customers and suppliers

Educational Requirements and Experience: ALL QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or a field or equivalent experience in a related role in a manufacturing environment. Prefer two (3) years progressive experience in a quality-related role in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in the automotive industry is required. Previous quality experience is also required.
