Bakken Staffing is looking for a Roustabout Supervisor in Parshall, ND. The person is responsible for undertaking, organizing, executing, and completing projects as delegated to him or her by the administration. The supervisor is responsible to see that all work is done according to the specifications of the customer, the company, and that operations are in compliance with all city, county, state, and federal guidelines.

The Roustabout Supervisor may supervise the activities of several teams. The supervisor will also work alongside the rest of the team in order to keep the job on track and on time.

Job Duties:

  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.
  • Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures
  • Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs
  • Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities
  • Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs
  • Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities
  • Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of roustabout helpers and pushers
  • Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans
  • Order or requisition materials or supplies
  • Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
  • Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery
  • Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment
  • Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, and using measuring and marking equipment
  • Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires
  • Is responsible for the fencing team when the supervisor is not on site
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to procedures
  • Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs

Pay is $20 to $40/hr. DOE.
Applicants must have previous management, oil/gas experience to be considered for this job.
