The appropriate candidate will be accountable for ensuring the SharePoint and Project Server Applications are meeting the needs of our internal clients from a functional, performance and uptime perspective and conducting client training as required.
Responsible for SharePoint administration and the coordination and implementation of best use practices including creation of workflow process and site customization.
Creation and maintenance of Sites and Site Collections and associated databases and services such as Shared Service Providers and Extended Authentication providers.
Qualification, installation and maintenance of any Plug-in, Feature, Web Part, Template or Solution, including 3rd party software or applications.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining search services, including defining search scopes
Site customization including creation of custom web components
Tracking the product roadmap and providing system and end user support and training
Infrastructure and deployment planning and execution
Planning, setup and administration of MS BPOS SharePoint sites
Providing occasional support the SDLC team when needed including troubleshooting and problem analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 3 years’ experience in systems development with 2 or more years in Internet Environment
3 years of experience implementing, deploying and customizing Project Server and SharePoint
Strong knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of traditional and Agile project lifecycles
Experience developing client facing, web applications supporting multiple browsers, with strong database skills
Basic .net skills as they pertain to developing for Project Server and SharePoint, knowledge of AD
