Senior Network Architect/Project Manager
We are seeking a senior onsite network architect/project manager that has the ability to share time between NYC & VA area who is well versed in Cisco networking support. This is an onsite engagement with paid travel allowance. Candidates that possess Waterfall/Agile PM Methodologies a plus. The candidate must be well versed in the following network related security technologies: 802.1x, firewalls (Palo Alto Networks), and Network Access Control (NAC). These requirements along with senior routing/switch experience would be ideal. This candidate also needs to be familiar with routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, RIP2, BGP; Gateway (GLBP/VRRP), VLANs, Spanning tree, LACP Etherchannel, Wireless access points, VoIP, SSH and TACACS administration, IOS configuration procedures and operational problem resolution best practices. The candidate must have a strong background in network based desktop connections with NAC, Security and 802.1x to provide enhanced desktop based network segmentation. This is a new requirement we just got from the client. This resource will be responsible for leading the day to day maintenance, vendor escalations, helpdesk based incident tracking for the Networking environment. This candidate will be responsible for deployment and administration of the Cisco IOS (12.2) for Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco, M5 and other Firewalls, Supervisor redundancy modules, Cisco wireless access points/controllers, Cisco call manager and Cisco VoIP gateways. The candidate must have hands-on experience Cisco IOS configuration, router/switch, Cisco Call Manager, SIP Trunking, Unified communications and Wireless experience. This candidate is expected to have excellent written, oral communication skills and a CCNP minimum. Knowledge of HP Network equipment, Virtual connect, and Flexfabric configurations are very desirable. scripting experience and CCIE is a real plus.
