Personal profile

A practical and multi skilled individual, I am naturally able to adapt to any task placed in front of me, and am fortunate that I hold the ability to be creative when problems needs to be resolved, I am not easily distracted and am focused when it comes to the workplace. My personal strengths include enthusiasm, a hardworking and conscientious attitude to the workplace but being able to use my own initiative when required. I’m always a team player but able to work well without supervision. I am flexible and adaptable to any situation that arises and possess a keen eye for detail. I have an excellent work attendance and timekeeping record. Holding a full clean UK Driving Licence travel to and from the workplace is not an issue. I believe that provided with the opportunity to regain work I will be an asset to any company that employs me.

Working Experience

1992-2012 Employed by K2 Direct Mail mainly as a key Print Finisher, I have a proven track record in Supervisory and Team Leader positions. I have acquired and demonstrated great technical ability and learned how to solve problems with common sense. I held the role of Training Technician of the Print Finishing department when operator skills were low and new employees requested a training program and development of abilities. I was an ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 27001 auditor for the company. I also gained mechanical knowledge of maintenance and repairs of mechanical equipment. Experienced in warehouse work including loading and unloading trucks and checking delivery notes, shrink wrapping and packing. I have both Counter Balance and Reach Truck licences for total flexibility within a warehouse location which was an additional part of my job role which I enjoyed immensely.

2012-Present
I have completed voluntary Product Photography projects for a local business, producing various product images and then post processing the files for best commercial results. I am also involved in voluntary work for LCA Tameside helping unemployed people to set up Universal Job Match accounts and email.
