Eugene Simpson began his working career as a Security Officer for Gray Security services, Gauteng, in 1985, and progressed through the ranks in a relatively short period of time. He was promoted to Senior Security Inspector on one of the leading Commercial sites in Johannesburg, Sage Life Towers.
He then ventured to the Motor Industry in 1989 at the age of 23. He maintained the stock control systems of one of the Toyota Dealerships in Johannesburg; Supra Hino Toyota, specialising in heavy duty trucks and one toners. He held a position of Administration Clerk and Buyer, Parts Department, reporting to the Parts Manager and Dealer Principle of Supra Hino Toyota.
At the end of 1991 he returned to KZN.He then embarked a career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, working for a major distributor in the Durban area; namely L’ etangs Wholesale Chemists and then Midlands Wholesale Chemists in the Pietermaritzburg area in the capacity of a Despatch Manager.
In 1995 he then studied to be a Security Officer and worked for various companies in the Security Industry gaining a vast experience in the Field of Security.
In this period of working in the Security environment he found his passion for people and their need for security in all aspects. His passions to render a service in this field grew. He then opened a Consultant Company, named E.L Security Consultants. The company was founded by two members, specifically to be a Service Delivery Monitor in the Security Industry.
Jointly in the years of service in the Security Industry, he has sixteen years of experience. The scope of experience is specifically in the area of Personnel and Personal Protection, Asset Protection, Stock and Risk Management.

He has also embarked in tasks that varied from Special Events ( Crowd Control Access Control, V.I.P Protection) at the Oval Pietermaritzburg Grounds, KZN, with all the major role players in the Protection Service, the Paramedics, Fire Department and the Special Events Coordinators of Msunduzi District, in the year 2007. Done a number of special events in and around Kwa Zulu Natal; including several soccer games at Moses Mabhida Stadium from 2010 to 2012.
He also rendered a Security Service to the Department of Education; Province of KwaZulu Natal; Umgungundlovo District Office at the Arthur Blaxall Marking Centre during the Senior Certificate marking June/ July 2008.
He held a Management position with a company, Martial Kombat based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal. He specialised in Asset Protection, Investigations, Loss/ Risk Management Control and also the Security Procedure Analysis Control. He also works as a Service Provider for the Traffic Department of the Msunduzi Municipality as a Summons Server.
He held a position as an Operations Manager for a reputable security company in Durban and currently holds a Director position of the sister company which is a growing force in the Security industry.
