Assigned to 689 Clearance Company, Orlando, FL and assigned Fort Jackson, South Carolina with 2 Platoon, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment for training. Duties were much the same as the previous enlistment, with extra emphasis on myself as I was prior service and as a result was treated much the same as an NCO at Basic Leaders
Course by the other Soldiers. I aggravated my previous knee injury and was discharged again, but I did participate in all training events until my discharge date.

Duties included following orders from Drill Sergeants and Non-Commissioned officers to the letter, attention to detail and self-discipline and teamwork at all times, Weapons and Equipment Safety, Barracks Maintenance, Marksmanship, Guard Duty, Administrative Assistant duties to Drill Sergeants, NCOs, and commissioned officers, Cleaning duty, Scheduling and maintaining training schedule, Forward Operating Base operations including constant personnel and weapons accountability as well as radio net monitoring of the company and its platoons and squads in the field.
