As the principal executive human resources officer for this 1,100 employee enterprise, I was accountable for all international HR policies and procedures, all processes involving the hiring and termination of employment of all employees, and the organizational compliance with all federal and municipal laws and regulations governing employment and employees within the firm. Responsible for the development and implementation of effective HR technology systems in direct support of company-wide performance goals and objectives. As general manager of this firm I was directly responsible for the development & implementation of the Corporate Business Plan, as well as the establishment of a comprehensive Human Resources Department. Responsibilities included the design and operation of an in-house compensation and payroll system, personnel database, company benefits, company handbook, INS compliance, and general HR policies. Also as general manager I developed and installed a complete accounting system, as well as an extensive database of current customer and potential prospects to target specific markets.

As human resources manager, I was directly responsible for the management and supervision of all facets of the Human Resources Department. In addition I was accountable for a 400 employee database, the recruiting, hiring, terminating, training and development of all new and existing employees, and I functioned as the Workers Compensation Administrator as well as the Unemployment Administrator (MD, DC, and VA). While employed at PMM, the unemployment rate decreased by 21% and the workers compensation decreased by 49%. I also served as English/Spanish translator and interpreter.
