* For this company, I worked under the title of Administrative Wage Garnishment Collector. My primary objective was to collect on defaulted student loans for the federal government. I would take on the responsibility on a case by case basis, setting up payment plans as well as other financial options, to help people get out of default and improve their standing with the federal government. When necessary, I would submit individuals for wage garnishment, handling the proper legal paperwork and acting as a liaison to the employer of the individual in question. This position required extreme patience, and the ability to have control over every situation, calming people down that were often times irate.

I worked for Mark Abernathy as an integral part of his political consulting business. In the duration of my time there I received managerial experience, worked closely with the Kern County Republican Central Committee, did an exorbitant amount of fund-raising, successfully planned and executed fundraising events. The campaigns that I worked on include Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Assembly Member Jean Fuller, several City Council members, School Board members, and Redistricting Reform. I served as the office liaison to the media, developing relationships and getting face-time and interviews for my candidates. I was also handed many confidential projects as they were assigned to me. The duties I performed under Mr. Abernathy's employ are extensive, and I believe they make me an asset to your company.

It is a very enjoyable and valuable experience, teaching me important life skills such as appeasing people that can be somewhat difficult to deal with at times, which taught me invaluable customer service skills, working expeditiously and effectively.
