Since 1979 I have been self-employed tutoring students from age 4 years through adulthood in various subjects. I went onto earn my Bachelor's Degree and Tennessee Teacher's Certification in Secondary Education Social Sciences. I taught in various high schools as the classroom teacher in the subjects of History, Geography, Business and Econmics. In all of my classes I incorporated arts and crafts from around the world. I taught as a classroom teacher teaching Basic Skills at the college level. I taught as a Teacher's Aid in Special Education at the high school and intermediate school levels. I Homeschooled several years intermediate school through high school students until the State of Tennessee changed their rules and I was no longer eligible to do so. I currently tutor Pre-K through Second Grades out of my home.
All aspects of a teacher from lesson planning, organization, material gathering, execution, cleanup, classroom management, evaluation and discipline.

Direct Support Person (Caregiver)

Provided medical care and life skills assistance to mentally and physically disabled adults in their home on the overnight shift from 12:00am-8:00am. Assisted with waking, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation and cleanup, administration of medication, tending to wound care and being ready for work on time. Socializing and conflict resolution was also part of the program. Record keeping on an hourly basis of each resident.

Volunteered at the shelter in all realms of animal care and office duties. Primarily, a Foster Puppy Parent caring for, at my home, litters of puppies by feeding, watering, administering medications, socializing, bathing, grooming, basic obedience training, play, exercise and kennel cleaning. Also, worked with abused and neglected animals of all ages as a Foster Pet Parent in the same areas, at my home, bringing them back to health and trusting people, again.
