I worked closely with the attorney in the acquisition, planning, appraisal, purchase-condemnation, leasing, disposal and management of real estate property. It was my responsibility for drafting legal documents and preparing preliminary drafts of instruments in the acquisition of real property. I prepared and performed title search, title abstracts, plats and legal descriptions of property involved in purchasing easements near Oceana Naval Air Station, Fentress, Virginia. My responsibility was to ensure correct metes and bounds based on plat furnished to me and after preparing Deeds I assisted Counsel in last minute title search before closing the purchase.
