PROJECT, ACCOUNT & RELEASE MANAGEMENT ACHIEVEMENTS  
• Project IP Security Manager(IBM) for Department of Defense (DoD) which required network attached products to be certified as Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) capable, to be put on the Approved Products List for use in DoD projects. Created SOW, SLA, and DOU with the IBM attorneys, peer project managers and the. Certification testing was performed by a group named the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) within the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The Impact: All ‘ z’ hardware potentially at risk in DoD ($245M) if IBM did not obtain compliance. Passed the test, received the JITC IPv6 Certification and was added to the DOD Approved Products List. 
• Release Manager for IBM Application Workload Modeler for Linux on zSeries. Provided Network and Application Performance with the ability to model, measure, and analyze the performance of networks and applications in a client/server, multiprotocol, multiplatform environment. Managed and directed a Middleware team of 45 in 13 months before going GA 
• Release Manager for z/OS Communications Server. Delivered (100-150k-loc) per release, providing application programming Interfaces and networking protocol support to enable SNA and TCP/IP applications. Methodologies used were Waterfall and Agile executing the SDLC (DCUT-FVT-SVT-BETA). Managed a team of 115 Software Engineers consisting of Designers, Developers, Test, Service and first line management. Facilitated scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and coordinated across groups to provide on-time, quality deliverables  
• Project manager for the successful migration of MVS, AS/400,DEC, and HP systems from Georgia-Pacific to IBM facilities. My team relocated more than 100 systems, along with their networks with no significant disruption. All of this was accomplished over a 13 week period with completion more than a month ahead of schedule. The flawless and timely move resulted in substantial cost avoidance for Georgia-Pacific and IBM. This enabled a highly successful launching of the strategic partnership between the two companies  
• Account Manager for external IBM accounts; Walmart, Siemens Healthcare, Good-Year Corp, Philadelphia Energy Co, Hertz Corp, and WorldSpan (Airline Industry). Responsible for the planning and controlling of Service Delivery with respect to quality, time and costs. Responsible for the fulfillment of the customer contract with regard to SLAs and internal OLAs from various IBM Service Lines. Responsible for Profit & Loss of delivered services costs and controls service delivery management in the Global Services Tower.  
• IT Outsourcing Manager for National Healthcare Group (NHG) of Singapore. Provided NHG application and infrastructure management services for their financial, material and patient management systems. In addition to the outsourcing contract, we provided NHG with consolidated IT helpdesk services, onsite support, IT asset management and tracking services and server operations, as well as management services. The five-year contract covers 11,000 employees working across four hospitals and three specialty institutes 
• Managed Communications Server Infrastructure for IBM’s internal and external accounts. Determined the hardware and software components needed for a release or external projects. Liaison for IBM & Cisco for ordering the necessary hardware (i.e. Cisco routers & blades, X and P Servers, Workstations, and Switches). Assembled and installed the hardware components and installed and configured the operating systems.  
• Provided coaching, counseling and career development for New Software Engineering Managers 
• Managed Organizational budgets, including (IT, Staffing, Capital, Miscellaneous expenses, etc).
