Client: UPS (United Parcel Service). As a Team Lead and Onsite Coordinator responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of customized solutions UPS (United Parcel Service). Currently located at client site in Wayne, NJ, USA. Responsibilities include: 
Responsible for attending business requirement and functional requirement sessions and provide the analysis and the estimates for the requirements. 
Prepare technical impact documents. 
Provide solutions to meet the client requirement and prepare detail designs. 
Prepare project plans for detail design, coding and unit testing and system testing. 
Create project plans and resource allocation plans. 
Co-ordinate between the offshore and the onsite regarding the requirement. 
Create Detail Design review document which includes a summary of all the requirements per release and review the document with users of different applications. 
Guide the developers regarding coding and unit testing. 
Deliver the solutions to the client and attending review sessions. 
Participate in system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.

My current role is that of a team leader and onsite co-coordinator for UPS. The role required to provide process improvement solutions to the client. The following process improvements were designed and developed by me and has been hugely appreciated by the client. Introduced the concept of external tables resulting in reduction of processing time of pl/sql processes. 
Shell script to check the successful completion of a process and sending out email notifications in case any errors occurred. 
Shell script to check space in Unix directories and send email notifications in case of space shortage resulting in reducing the number of abends. 
Generic shell script to check record lengths for files. 
Shell script to update email IDs in email notification files. 
Shell script to create report to show the data processed for all processes. 
Shell script to automate clean up of space in Unix directories.
