• Raise funds of $195,000+ for food bank programs  
• Worked during disaster relief efforts after 4/27/11 tornadoes to coordinate volunteers and donations through local channels (radio), through social media (Facebook & Twitter), and also worked in conjunction with Feeding America for corporate gifts 
• Led the organization of a 5k fundraiser which raised over $3000 with 200 participants, focusing on locating funding opportunities, creating marketing materials, and publicity opportunities 
• Promote fundraising campaigns and food drives using press releases, PSAs, and live interview for the local news station, most recent food drive received 10x the donations from the previous year 
• Collaborate with board members to create the semi-annual newsletter for community awareness, and sponsor and volunteer highlights 
• Currently developing a Donor Relationship program (similar to a CRM) to allow the food bank to better attain volunteers, new donors, and update current donors on news and fundraisers 
• Create social media updates and marketing materials such as a commercial script 
• Reorganized volunteer process to gain more local visibility and community involvement, working with University of Alabama in the creation of a community service class focused on disaster relief
