Metropolitan area from one conference center to five and the addition of external 
meeting planning services managing a $3.5M budget 
o Manage five conference centers with a team of 12 staff in the Washington 
Metro Area hosting over 1,500 classified and unclassified meetings per year 
o Oversaw extensive renovations of existing conference facilities and build out of new facilities, including three secure SCIF conference facilities 
o Oversee a team of 8 staff in support of 150 external meetings per year 
o Established the Strategic Meeting Management Program (SMMP) to mitigate 
risk and capture and consolidate costs for external meetings 
o Developed and implemented risk management program through contract 
language for external meeting space rental resulting in major cost reductions 
• Saved over $750K through the creation of a strategic catering partnership 
o Negotiated service level agreements/contracts with 12 caterers, with a minimum of 7 active caterers at all times 
o Upgraded the ordering system from manual to online, establishing 
"clickNcater" system to improve efficiency and reduce waste 
• Lead, coach, and mentor Conference Services staff to increased levels of responsibility 
including growing two executive level employees. 
o Mentor 8 internal staff of varying levels (entry to senior manager) across the firm to increase their leadership skills 
• Manage the relationship to the onsite company daycare facility, a Bright Horizons 
Family Center servicing over 60 families (80 children) annually since opening in 2000 
o Collaborate on annual contract negotiation 
o Ensure compliance with the contract terms 
o Support and address parent concerns 
o Established "safe haven" and "shelter-in-place" locations for evacuations
