Substitute Certification (Fall 2009) - Though my degree is a BFA in Print/Sculpture it wasn’t till my 3rd year that I dropped my K-12 certification. I made this decision because I plan on pursuing a masters degree; replacing the need for a certification. In the past I have worked closely with individuals in the Sayre Area School District, and in 2009 applied for certification. It wasn’t long after this I moved to Williamsport, and I was working full-time before I got a call for rotation.  
Relevance: Comprehensive background check, Special education/Disability-sensitivity training, experience devising and introducing lessons that illustrate hands-on instruction, group instruction involving Introduction of IEP(individual education plan; working with a group without losing site of the individual/ their specific needs) 
After-hours Facility Supervisor […] – While attending Edinboro University I received a state grant that required me to attain a job through the university and work between 10-20 hrs a week( depending on credit load). The job I held involved supervision of students, equipment, and facilities after the instructor’s scheduled hours. I monitored 3 separate facilities supervising the use of:(including but not limited to) a range of equipment, deadly-toxic chemicals, a facility for furniture construction, and a Apple G5 computer design lab(one set up in this lab retailed, by itself, at over […] 
Relevance: experience working along side/ supervising/ instructing a group of individuals, experience supervising use of expensive equipment and dangerous/toxic chemicals, as well as, regulating its access and maintaining the facilities themselves.
