I have been a registered nurse since 2001. I began work on a Coronary Care Step Down unit with cardiac surgical patients on telemetry monitoring. I have experience with rehab of spinal cord/ brain injury patients. Most of my experience has been with emergency room patients over the past 7 years. I enjoy working the most with patients in emergency settings.

RN in emergency department. Triage and care of patients in a 14 bed ER serving pediatrics and adults. Certified currently with BLS, ACLS, PALS.

January 2002 to May 2006
I began work with patients 24-48 hours s/p coronary artery bypass graft and other cardiac related procedures/surgeries for 1 year, then with rehab of traumatic brain injury/ spinal cord injury patients for 1.5 years. Following, I worked with intensive care patients for 3 months that lead me to my career in emergency nursing. I joined the 36 bed ER at Cape Fear Valley for 2 years.
