Oversee put away process with associates. Ensure work is distributed by using tugger, pallet jack, and forklift to move work from receiving to the warehouse put away area. Have to maintain the work flow so to not impact associates productivity or delay process. Have to delegate job functions to associates on a need bases(in cases when we are short staffed have to move associate(s) to fill another area at times). On occasions have to assist the receiving team lead with truckers and other freight companies that are delivering product to our warehouse. Work drop zone report daily ensuring that products on report are put away or found to keep operations in compliance with DEA and regulatory laws. Work closely with Quality Control department to address any issues with drop zone report, cycle counts, and quantity discrepancies in warehouse. Conducted census interviews with numerous households in the Memphis area. Worked in the field door to door as well as phone communication with various individuals of different ethnic and social groups. Had to maintain strict confidentiality with all personal information given, as well as ensure the household member that their privacy was priority to the Census Bureau and that penalties woud be enforced wth the misuse of their information.
