Duties include answering a twelve-line switchboard, for both the accounting and corporate offices, and writing quotes for sales people and sending out submittals often by scanning them into PDF format for the customers for the projects that we were awarded using Word, Excel, Access and the Internet often for research for my boss, James Fichtelman. Command Alkon is a new batching system that Essroc currently employs to combine quoting and billing to better access the accounts on a daily basis. Often this requires researching companies for information regarding address, phone and locations. I was also typing memos, taking messages, forwarding e-mails to the correct individuals and booking trips for management. In addition I worked with the current Big 3 cell phone companies taking care of 200 cell phone and data card accounts (Sprint, AT&T and Verizon, to which I still have all my contacts for business) This also included keeping the office clean and projecting a professional atmosphere for everyone that walked through the front door, maintaining the kitchen, conference and front office areas to make sure they were tidy. Customer service is my specialty and all this made my job much easier. I also arranged luncheons for the managers, ordering out, shopping at Sam's Club to restock the necessary office items were also a bi-weekly duty.

Secretary
Worked extensively with the public in person and over the phone selling jewelry at The Diamond Gallery in Parkersburg. Cashiering and customer service were of the utmost importance. I was also a temporary secretary at The Carpenter's Training Center on Route 47 where my duties included answering phones, figuring and faxing upgrades for apprentices throughout the state, typing memos and scanning documents and timecards to be stored on the computer to alleviate the storage of paper. These of course could be burned to disc and stored or carried to another location. (Contact Supervisor: Yes, Supervisor's Name: Kim, Supervisor's Phone: 304-295-0205)
