Receive referrals from marketers, doctor's offices, and hospitals. Verify insurance acceptance. Enter all referral information into OfficeWyse and forward to authorization department for eligibility. Call patient to verify that all contact information is correct & advise them a nurse will contact them to schedule a visit. If an IV patient, coordinate with pharmacy for delivery time. Complete patient packet & give it to scheduling. Run a weekly hospital hold list for all patients that have been admitted into the hospital.
