Worked in an Engineering Dept. Duties included hardware testing and analysis, R&D rework and performance, documentations, BOMs, parts and vendors interactions using the company's ORACLE software system of a leading firm and provider of performance management solutions that drive performance and reliability into communications networks and services. Attended training classes in company's IP Insight and Visual Uptime softwares and terminalogy in a Frame Relay, PVC, T1, DSU/CSU, ASE, DS3, PAC/PAM communications networks environment. Also, performed company's products flash, IXP and PLD programmable chips downloading and verifications in updating the production line.

Performed working in a production and engineering department; testing, tuning and troubleshooting of the various IDU and ODU modules and devices both to the component and system level performance using test automated equipment and software. Other duties included support engineering test fixture and software performance, collecting data and measurement, and utilizing test fixture calibration and testing/tuning RF modules.

Performed testing and troubleshooting motherboards (Mid-Rate Modems) and daughter boards (VFD, Sync. Data & CPU Modules) for the network related hardwares for the telecommunications and cellular switching industry. Also, performed testing/debugging of the Terrasat 600 project to the system level performance. The test equipment used are as follows; sage instrument, spectrum analyzer, fireberd, signal generator, power meter and PCs loaded with automated test softwares. Other duties included engineering assistance and burning programmable chips or devices.

Worked as a contractor for a temporary position in an automated R&D Dept. Duties included measuring the performance of the RF modules (both Tx and Rx modems), also prototyping the above modules to both system and component level performance. Familiar with setting up test equipment such as signal generator, multi-meter, power meter and power supply, modulation analyzer, spectrum analyzer, dual channel filter, waveform generator and automated PC controllers.
