As a Senior Tactical Collection Coverage Analyst I perform collection management and analytic coordinating functions between National, Theater, and Tactical levels to identify collection gaps and/or redundancies; conduct short-, mid-, and long-term studies, analyzing data feeds to make recommendations for asset placement and tasking; answer requests for information from supported commands; assists deployed troops with tactical collection configurations and targeting on organic equipment in support of the Commander's Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR); monitor reporting to provide intelligence indicators for near-real-time cross-queuing, while ensuring collection efforts are in response to ground-component commander PIR and focused on supporting current operations. Performs primary tasking, detasking, and tasking modification of target communications in response to requests from forward-deployed collection managers; ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as national/tactical deconfliction among target sets; coordinates directly with national and tactical entities to determine proper division of effort; provides basic analysis to help identify and resolve tasking, collection, and/or dataflow issues.
• I responded to approximately 100,000 requests from forward units for 74 systems. Of those requests, 500 resulted in the capture/kill of insurgents and were in support of combat operations conducted within 24 hours of the request.
• I also performed 900 retro pulls for forward units resulting in 90,528 cuts. I also completed 450 reports.
• I also facilitated 50 dual routes/coops and completed 50 bulk detasks.
