A typical day would start by making breakfast and coffee for my client. Then wash dishes and afterward carry a conversation with my customer. After that make bed and clean room, clean bathroom and shower patient. Sometime during the week would go shopping for client. I learned to be more compassionate and understanding of elderly people. One day we'll all be there. Co-workers, had a couple that did not do their job properly or weren't dependable. Supervisors helped to give me the best tools and information about doing my job. The hardest part of the job is getting a yearly pay increase. It's a low paying job and sometimes the bosses overlook the yearly cost of living pay increase. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing my client happy and satisfied with my work.
