Most people won't be very happy here...
Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Springfield, MO – January 3, 2013
Teletech is one of those places that is perfect for some, taxing for most, and downright impossible for everyone else. Depending on where you end up, your experience may be better.
The expectations themselves aren't impossible to meet, but the system issues between Teletech and the retail clients cause problems. The entire system sometimes goes down on sales days, and employees are told to direct the customers to the stores, despite the fact that we know the stores can't help them either.
Beyond that, there is a lack of communication when it comes to just about every policy you'll have to abide by. The CSR's have several different understandings, the Floor Walkers aren't all on the same page, and all but one of the supervisors is less than approachable.
The pay is nice enough, if you're willing to duck your head down and push through. Be prepared though--often, the job you're initially hired and interviewed for may not be the one you get placed in training for. Half of the training class was shocked to find they were in sales, despite the fact that they had all been told they were approved to go into Technical Support.
