Description

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has an exciting opportunity for a

Infrastructure Project Lead,

working in the Information Technology Services (ITS) department.

In this role you will be a member of the ITS Cash Forward Program team, and provide technical expertise, leadership, planning and coordination of Cash Forward infrastructure build and application performance testing activities.

In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating infrastructure build project activities and supervising the development, execution and maintenance of a testing strategy and detailed test plans/schedule, from project inception to closure. You will interact with internal and external constituents, including senior leadership at the Regional District and National System level. Strong project management skills are required, and an Information Technology testing background is recommended.

The ITS area provides excellent, cost-effective service to its customers by offering reliable and stable operations, outstanding business support, and active exploration and integration of new technologies.

Specific Duties Include:
·

Host infrastructure and/or testing project status meetings and coordinate regular operational performance reviews with project stakeholders

·

Complete project work within the estimated time for each area of work defined; reports status against the project schedule and meets deadlines established in the project schedule

·

Develop project performance reports for periodic senior management updates

·

Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes and action items

·

Maintain an issue log; proactively work to resolve project issues and monitor progress on issue resolution

·

Complete an assessment of nonfunctional requirements, supervise the development of a performance testing strategy and plan and secure a formal signoff from the business owner

·

Assess the applicability and use of automated testing tools, and coordinate the incorporation of the tools in the testing plans

·

Coordinate project resources to execute detailed tests and analyze testing results.

·

Develop and maintain processes for tracking test planning, execution, results documentation, defect identification, defect resolution and defect retesting

·

Ensure that project activities comply with Bank’s Technology Project Standards and adhere to Federal Reserve enterprise policies, procedures and processes

·

Complete review of project requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all nonfunctional requirements are included in the scope of the test plan

Qualifications

Qualifications:
·

Bachelors Degree from four-year college or university; and 5 -7 years of dedicated project management experience managing large-scale and enterprise projects required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

·

Experience with performance and capacity testing work in support of infrastructure projects and software projects

·

Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale infrastructure and development projects on schedule and within budget

·

Must be able to achieve project goals and objectives in a fast paced environment with multiple conflicting priorities

·

Ability to foster a team environment and achieve project results in a virtual setting with a matrix organizational structure

·

Experience in gathering requirements from users and facilitating the creation of technical requirements and specifications

·

Strong and demonstrated skills in the areas of communication, oral and written; interpersonal skills to include influence, negotiation and diplomacy

·

Demonstrated experience in effectively working with all levels of management and internal team members from different disciplines

·

Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

·

Keen to learn and adopt new technology and principles

·

Superb analytical skills: both technical and process improvement oriented

·

Skilled in the use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server and Risk Radar

·

Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Desired Skills and Experience:
·

Project Management Certification

·

Experience with systems analysis and design, development methodologies, system security concepts, multi-tier application architecture, relational databases ·

·

Experience in configuration management and code migration

·

Experience with software test analysis/planning and execution
