Position Title: Director of Finance

Summary of Position: To provide effective financial planning and reporting for the US operations of the AlliedPRA Group. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. Manage the general accounting, accounts receivable/payables, financial risk management and payroll in accordance with group accounting policies. Develop and manage effective internal control procedures. Working business partnership with the President of North American Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set deadlines and ensure high standards in production of monthly management accounts, analysis and reporting packages.
Establish appropriate financial controls for operational procedures.
Monitor and enforce operational and internal control procedures.
Local audit responsibility.
Establish and manage the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting function.
Ensure company’s legal interests are protected and liabilities are limited including review of key contracts with clients and vendors utilizing services of company attorney if required
Liaise and maintain the key financial relationships with banks and other financial institutions as required
Oversee the US Payroll functions including ensuring timely payments in accordance with group policies and payroll dates
Drive efficiencies and improvements in the cash operations including timely collection of all receivables.
Ensure compliance with all relevant US taxation obligations in the various jurisdictions of all business operations. Identify tax planning opportunities
Analysis and Presentation of Business Opportunities including cost savings opportunities
Undertake other duties as required by the CFO/HQ Finance from time to time; highly responsive to HQ inquiries/requests
Work flexibly with other members of the AlliedPRA team
