The Bay East Association of REALTORS® is a professional trade association serving over 5000 real estate professionals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We are constantly developing and promoting both programs and services that enhance the REALTOR® image and our members' ability to successfully conduct their individual businesses with integrity and competency.
We are looking for a talented, motivated, and innovative individual to join our team as a Web Designer in our Pleasanton office. Working closely with our Design and Video teams within the Marketing and Communications Department, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing visually engaging and functional site layouts, user interfaces and assorted digital collateral across the full spectrum of our projects and products.
-3+ years developing rich user interfaces using 3rd party frameworks
-Experience with responsive design concepts
-Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture
-Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS6/7 (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
-Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
-Highly motivated, innovative, positive and capable of working independently and as a member of a team
-Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.
Preferred but not required skills:
-Experience with Drupal
-Working knowledge of Linux Server environment
-Experience with Wordpress including knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions and hooks
-Experience with ASP.NET framework
-Familiarity with Twitter Bootstrap, Zurb or related frontend frameworks.
BS in Computer Science or Engineering
