Do you have a passion for helping those with developmental disabilities? Are you patient, flexible, and creative? Are you driven by a personal commitment to service? Do you have experience in woodworking and with power tools? If so, please read on.
Carobell, Inc.'s Station Club Enterprise has a full time opening for a Day Support Technician in our wood shop.
The wood shop is one of the many training programs offered. The individuals we serve work in the wood shop to complete custom made picnic tables, park benches, Adirondack chairs and other outdoor, wooden furniture. The position advertised oversees the wood shop and ensures that individuals are safe and working toward their individual goals, as well as learning and enjoying their time at Station Club. This position also requires a certain amount of professionalism as meeting with potential customers is a part of the position.
Professional or hobby-level experience working with power tools and wood and a high school diploma are required. While we prefer someone who has worked with the developmentally disabled, if you have a talent and passion for working with this population, along with a healthy dose of initiative, patience and creativity, we'd like to hear from you.
