Job Title: Driver Merchandiser
Department: Tides Enterprises
Reports To: Operations Manager
Drives truck or automobile over established route to deliver and render services, collect money from customers and make changes by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following - Other duties may be assigned
Drives truck to deliver products to grocery store, restaurant and/or customer's place of business
May be required to collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt.
Records deliveries information on daily delivery record
Informs regular customers of new products or services (if instructed)
Places stock on shelves or racks
Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
Cleans inside of truck after every shift
Performs routine maintenance check on truck after every shift
Fill out and turn in reports provided

Appearance – You are an extension/representative of our brand. The brand is synonymous with quality, excellence, pride and integrity. Your appearance must be well kept, groomed and reflect overall image of the company. No outside logo hats, shirts, etc. Uniform must be washed, clean and free of stains, Shoes must be tied and clean. NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND COMPANY TRUCKS, FACILITIES OR ACCOUNTS.

Education and/or Experience -
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills -
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills -
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability -
Ability to apply understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations -
DOT Health Exam, Current Driver's License (clean driving record 3+ years)
Other Qualifications -
Some overnight travel is required (average 1 night a week)
