Reporting to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent’s office will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and providing secretarial and administrative support for the Superintendent, the Associate Superintendent, and others as required by the Superintendent.
Assistant will receive and handle all incoming calls and visitors, as well as screen and handle requests for information. Prioritize, coordinate and schedule calendar requests, maintain and ensure accuracy of calendar, handle and coordinate logistics for all meetings, social functions, and gatherings.
Accurately and on a timely basis, handle all correspondence, incoming and outgoing. Coordinate special requests to include the coordination of all travel, annual Catholic School In-service, Catholic School Collection, statistical data from all Catholic schools in the diocese, and directory information.
Works with other Administrative Assistants within the Pastoral Center, when needed
Serve as the main point of contact for International Student records and compliance

 Bachelor’s Degree or significant experience in administrative assistant role preferred
 Five years of experience in Catholic Schools preferred
 Knowledge of Microsoft applications OR willingness to complete training
 Ability to function well in a team environment
 Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
 High degree of confidentiality
 Strong organizational and problem solving skills; highly motivated
 Excellent communication skills, oral and written, proof-reading and editing ability
 Knowledge of Federal and State Education Law for Non-public/public schools
 Knowledge of or willingness to learn MURA Content Management System and ability to keep Website up to date
