The Angell Pharmacy Technician works closely with the Pharmacist and the veterinary staff, and is responsible for accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone. This position requires basic knowledge of MA Board of Pharmacy regulations, retail pharmacy practice and a familiarity with veterinary medications. The ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, clinical information regarding prescription medication use to clients and other hospital staff is a core competency required of the Pharmacy Technician. Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate and this position requires a Pharmacy Technician Certification. The ideal candidate will have previous retail pharmacy experience of two to three years. There is one full time 40/week position; Alternating weekly schedule (Monday/Tuesday hours alternate):
-- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 1p-9:30p & Saturday 8:30a-5p, Off Sun/Monday
