Pharmacy Management Company needs Pharmacist Consultants in Northwest and North Central Texas.
We are looking for Pharmacists that can dedicate 1-2 days per week working with small rural hospitals as a pharmacy consultant:
As a consultant pharmacist, you will visit each facility one time per week to perform various duties required by the State Board of Pharmacy for rural hospitals.
> Act as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
> Supervise LVN/Technicians working in the pharmacy as needed
> Monitor purchasing & Inventory
> Conduct controlled substance counts
> Provide leadership and inform administration
> Provide oversight on pharmacy related issues
> Assist with IT related issues if need
Management Company provide:
> Remote order review in your absensce
> IT Support
> Policies and Procedures
> P&T Meeting Support
> Pharmacy Business Model
> Fair wage and car allowance
You must be:
> A pharmacist with a Texas license in good standing
> Hospital experience a plus
> Good Communicator.
