Temporary CIP Specialist (part time)

Major Responsibilities

Responsible for the collection and authentication of all identity documents for account holders in collaboration with other CIP specialists.

Specific Job Duties:
Follow established procedures and guidelines to:
Determine the acceptability of all identification documents received from student account holders

Process identification documents by updating the respective account records to indicate a CIP status of verified or unverified

Notify bank account holders whose documents have been rejected (as expired, illegible, invalid) and request valid and/or legible copies for processing

Review and process all identification documents and forms received from Colleges/Universities unto Excel Spreadsheets to be uploaded into Higher One systems

Respond to all CIP related Easy Help incidents

Respond to all CIP related questions from Customer Service, One Support, Banking and Relationship Managers regarding specific account holders or CIP related issues

Process name change documents

Process requests to update customer information

Accurately maintain both paper and electronic files

Other Functions:
Assist with Customer Service Inbound calls and EasyHelp inquiries as necessary

Special projects as assigned by management

Job Requirements/Skills:
Previous experience as a Higher One Customer Care Agent

Ability to handle escalated calls and provide stellar service to both internal and external customers

Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others

Detail oriented

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
