L-3 is looking for an experienced

SharePoint Administrator

with both Agile Scrum delivery skills and project facilitation experience to work with us on the RCAS Program at Reston, VA. L-3 supports the program across a broad range of systems and software technologies. The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of Agile Software Development practices. In this role, they will ensure operational and intelligence data is uploaded to the system in accordance with requirements set forth by intelligence producers and users in their respective writing guides and in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs). They will review input from analysts to determine if published products are posted in accordance with web guidelines. They will also review published products for formatting and display errors and develop/perform necessary software modifications to address the problems(s). This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

Functional Responsibility:
Provide systems and network administration, and systems engineering support for a SharePoint application, including Share Point Server, Windows Server, and SQL Server

Present recommendations for system improvements

Set up and maintain user accounts for a large program. User base is expected to be at least 250 individuals

Assist developer with implementing new capabilities to serve the user base

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

Direct Current and Relevant experience with RCAS is highly desirable.


Minimum required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, with or eligible for a Government security clearance

College degree (B.S.; M.S., PhD.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.

Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form

Strong software development background, with a minimum of three (3) solid years experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach

Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management

Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter

Professional Experience: 3+ years related technical experience

Technical Certifications

Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Periodically develops data which goes beyond existing boundaries of information in field.

Acts independently to expose and resolve problems.
