Straub is a complete health care system, which means the
primary care physicians, specialist physicians, clinics
and hospital staff are all part of the same
organization. Straub cares for and comforts patients
throughout the state at both the hospital and clinic
locations. Straub offers a network of neighborhood
clinics on Oahu, Lanai, and visiting specialists on the
Big Island as well as the services of nearly 200
physician specialists. The Endoscopy Department at
Straub is a specialty area in which care is provided to
patients with known or suspected gastrointestinal
problems who are undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic
treatment or procedures.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care
through assessment, planning, implementation,
evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Functions
as an associate to a charge nurse and begins to assume
charge nurse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements
for Hawai’i state licensing. Current Hawai’i RN license.
Current BLS/HCP card. Two years recent registered nurse
experience in an ambulatory care setting.
Preferred: Two years recent registered nurse experience
in Endoscopy, Moderate Sedation, ICU and/or ER
experience. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. ACLS. PALS.
