Senior IT Oracle Technical Leads
positions located in Whitakers, NC.
Participate in multiple cross-functional IT projects that may comprise a program from inception to completion.
Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders using Triangle project management to establish project performance goals, designs project plan, develop timeline, identify project milestones, and track performance against goals and timeline. Plan and monitor project budget.
Work with business and functional leaders to define tangible and measurable business outcomes and lead the program in achieving those business outcomes.
Identify, track, and work with others to resolve project issues. Oversee Change Management Process to ensure standard operating procedures are put in place.
Use Six Sigma quality tools to identify and manage areas of project risk.
Identify alternatives or solutions and apply motivational techniques to broad-based organization change issues. Document and share team learnings with other teams.
Ensure that project documentation is complete and communicate with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments. Identify and assign appropriate resources to accomplish project tasks.
Provide guidance and technical oversight to team members through various stages of the project.
Oversee implementation of custom solution (interfaces) developed with Agile Methodologies.
Model business processes with standard functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite and define customizations to meet specific business needs.
Complete software life cycle management from business specifications through User acceptance testing.
Stay abreast of all new Oracle technology, tools and processes including Oracle Fusion that are corporate IT driven and work with appropriate teams to develop plans to integrate that with various EBU (Engine Business Unit) projects and applications.
Use corporate ITPM (IT Project management) methodology to manage IT projects.
Oversee Full life-cycle implementation of technical systems including the design, development, UAT, Final implementation and Infant care. Work with customers to translate and prioritize business requirements and define product release content. Work the corporate ADSC team to develop more detailed project plans with clearly defined milestones and measures.
Ensure all appropriate project/system related documentation is kept up-to-date. Ensure all key milestones are met. Coordinate various design reviews with the cross-functional team as well as internal teams. Establish customer satisfaction metrics and report results to customers and Engineering IT management at periodic intervals.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (employer will accept 2 years of academic coursework plus 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree) and 4 years of experience in an IT Project Management/Consultant/Analyst or related position.
Experience to include: Oracle E-Business Suite; ITPM (IT Project management) methodology; Six Sigma; Oracle Fusion; User acceptance testing; Full life-cycle implementation; Change Management Process; Agile Methodologies; Triangle project management; translation of business requirements.
