Assoc App Systems Analyst- Physician IS Acquisitions - 1309108 Description
      The position is responsible for business process and project intake, planning and conducting initial discovery for project scope. Position will liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for new projects, policies and information systems. Position is responsible for project planning and estimating, business analysis, project coordination and intake, and status reporting.

      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

      ESSENTIAL:

      Conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of CHS, working effectively in a diverse work environment.

      Develops and maintains project plans for all business analysis efforts and selected software deployments.

      Work with other IS staff in a matrix assignment environment.

      Analyzes and assigns projects/tasks related to new development requests and implementations.

      Reports, tracks and communicates status and issues, based on departmental defined reporting templates.

      Works with end users to determine business needs/requirements for new/enhanced systems or applications.

      Coordinates and provides impact analysis on new projects.

      Develops and documents as-is/to-be business processes, configuration scripts, and other associated technical specifications from end user requirements.

      Analyzes information needs and functional requirements. Evaluates information gathered, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, distinguishes user requests from underlying true needs.

      Documents projects scope and prepares submittals for the IT governance board.

      Provides guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the project objectives using manual processes or software tools.

      Facilitates cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations, conducts impact analysis of new products, systems, upgrades and changes for department/functional areas, and evaluates systems and business processes for feasibility.

      Liaises with other IS areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues

      Drafts communication plans for projects and operational needs and maintains list of individuals and groups who are recipients of communications

      Stays current with evolving technologies.

      Reports, tracks and communicates status and issues, based on departmental defined reporting templates.

      OTHER:

      Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Associates Degree I Business, IS, or related field required

      Bachelors Degree in Business, IS or related field desired

      PMP certification desired

      Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a business analyst role

      Experience gathering and documenting requirements for information technology projects

      Experience coordinating and deploying technical products to end users

      Experience developing and implementing cross organizational business process flows

      Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including VISIO, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

      Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with internal and external clients, peers, management and cross-functional areas, to clearly and concisely communicate (written and oral) technical information to non-technical audience, to use relationship development skills and facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical personnel

      Ability to draw out information and develop in-depth understanding of complex processes

      Ability to determine/refine business requirements

      Ability to manage time effectively, to meet schedules and deadlines, to work under time pressure, and to pay close attention to detail

      Ability to analyze and troubleshoot

      Ability to use good judgment in evaluation and decision making.

      Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
