  • Accurately interprets, compiles, and enters data into the computer system (MRP/Made-to-Manage [M2M]).
Analyzes and verifies to ensure data integrity within M2M.

Stores correct information in appropriate database locations.

Manages additional responsibilities including troubleshooting, regular updating, and retrieval of data as and when required. (Specs/M2M/Quality changes, BOMs (Bills of Material) routings, Finance)

Ships and invoices customer products. Creates sales orders for production and validations, jobs, routings, BOMs, updating BOMs, pricing, shipping methods for products.

Ensures that customer has all required documents when shipping products with our Quality Department.

Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations.

Communicates fulfillment status and/or issues within the organization to points including Demand / Supply Planning, Logistics Management, Sales, and Customer Service.

Prepares, updates and managers spreadsheets for manager’s monthly meetings.

Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Completes all required tasks within specified deadlines.

Maintains confidentiality of all data being dealt with.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or GED with High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • Two-year degree in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience with shipping and invoicing products, creating BOMs, using databases.

Must be able to read and understand written work instructions.

Experience must include data analysis and data input, as well as troubleshooting.

Ability to teach and train others is a plus.

Comfortable with basic math skills.

Must work well with time constraints.

Must be computer literate.

Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Physical Demands

  • Requires stooping, standing, kneeling, up to 20 pounds of force to move objects.
Requires frequent and repetitive bending, stretching, stooping, scooping and circular arm and hand motions.

Requires prolonged standing and pushing and pulling of containers.

Work Environment

Responsible for performing duties in an environment that is free from discrimination, intimidation, coercion or harassment, including sexual harassment

Some exposure to airborne particles, dirt, dust

Must adhere to company’s and facility’s safety practices by performing work safely and in accordance with established standards

Summary
The MRP Associate is responsible for the verifying and entering product and shipment data into various internal systems, including ERP system (Made-to-Manage), MRP system, and Quality Management System, as well as the analysis and verification of data to ensure data integrity.
