We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator - LNFA to join our TRISUN Care Center - Corsicana team in Corsicana, TX! SUMMARYDirects administration of all activities of the nursing home within authority of governing board by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Administers, directs and coordinates all activities of nursing home to carry out its mission and objectives and legal compliance in the provision of healthcare and participation in the community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of the nursing home, to include the application and the implementation of established policies that secure resident services and business objectives. Implements, maintains and follows company policies and procedures. Implements, maintains and follows TRISUN Core Systems. Implements and utilizes company approved forms and processes. Assures compliance with established company formularies. Supports quality processes that secure positive resident service Is the liaison among the governing authority, the medical staff and the departments within the nursing home. Operates the facility in accordance to established Policies and Procedures. Prepares and forwards all reports required by management and the licensing authorities. Works with the department heads in the hiring of personnel and assures that there are adequate numbers of staff to meet the needs of the residents on a twenty four hour basis. Develops or expands programs or services for community health and welfare promotion. Administers fiscal operations such as budget planning, business office functions, and operating within established budgets and facility business plans. Meets or exceeds established Accounts Receivable goals. Makes recommendations for improvement of and additions to nursing home buildings and equipment. Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, and administrative staff and services. Represents nursing home at community meetings and promotes programs through various community events. Supervises and evaluates implementation of the "Resident's Rights". Participates in Manager-on-Duty Program. Position requires being accessible on a 24-hour basis at all times. Attends and participates in periodic scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings. Maintains confidentiality of necessary information. Understands and adheres to the guidelines of "Residents Rights." All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have the ability to communicate professionally, effectively and positively to management, staff, visitors and residents. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Must have the ability to provide direction and support for the facility and team. Must be proficient in state compliance issues. Must be familiar with 10 key, copiers, printers, and computer. Must be a self-starter and logical thinker; must have excellent written and oral communication skills; must exhibit strong organizational skills; must be able to grow employees individually and as a teamEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in nursing home administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust hold current Administrators License as required by state law. PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENTEmployee is required to hear, speak, sit, stand, and walk daily. The position is located in healthcare facility environment.
