GIS Data Analyst (Job Number: 320441)
SAIC has a career opportunity for a GIS Data Analyst located in Washington DC. The selected candidate will become a full time employee of SAIC with full benefits.
We are looking for a GIS Data Analyst with core skills including, creating GIS data services and conducting analyses utilizing GIS tools and products including ESRI GIS product suite for our work with the EPA.
JOB DESRIPTION: Analyst will be supporting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and potentially other civilian agencies providing spatial data analysis, data modeling, map services, data quality control analysis and testing.
Knowledge of GIS products including the ESRI product suite and mapping for web based applications and experience producing ArcGIS mapping and web services. GIS analytical and environmental analysis skills required.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a GIS, scientific or equivalent discipline and 5+ years of related experience.
