As a DevOps / Systems Engineer you will be Responsible for: * Build servers in a programmable fashion.* Write software to help automate and manage the clusters.* Use Amazon EC2 Infrastructure: Cloud Formation, EC2, Route53, Autoscaling, CloudWatch.* Write Chef recipes.* Set up fault tolerant servers and geographical redundancy.* Working closely with the Development and QA teams on architecture and technologies.* Create archival, backup and recovery processes.* Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.* Write scripts in bash, ruby or any other language to manage and monitor different levels of the server stack: process monitoring, memory monitoring, disk usage, uptime monitoring. RequirementsWhat we're looking for in our DevOps / Systems Engineer: * Experience with Linux OS: Gentoo/Ubuntu/Debian.* Supporting public or private cloud technology.* Experience with MySQL server.* Good DBA skills including MySql replication* Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for the Linux platforms.* Experience with Administering and Deploying Rails and Memcache (or similar technology).* Experience with Administering Amazon EC2 clusters.* Security experience and hands-on knowledge for hardening systems.* Strong Unix skills and the ability to script in bash, ruby or other code base is desirable.
