(1) Jr. Software Engineer (will consider entry level candidates)
Our client is a global manufacture of Industrial Controls Automation. CNC, Servo, and general motion control products that target multiple industries. From Packaging and printing to Machining and Material Handling. They employ over 200,000 + globally with sales reaching 60 billion.
Location: Chicago Suburbs, IL
Responsibilities include: (partial list)
Develop PLC motion and logic functionality using IEC and PLC open. Provide system support to areas of packaging processes and various other industry applications. Support customers by verifying reported defects and identifying the underlying problems related to Software Engineering. Develop requirement specifications based on customer input.
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Degree (CE, CS, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2 yrs Experience in programming of PLC motion and PLC logic
Experience with motion controllers (open to any). Development exp. / Real Time applications – Motion Control Motion Bus, Profi-bus and Function Block knowledge helpful.. Will consider Applications, Controls Engineers, Project Engineer, Software Engineer titles.

5+ yrs Experience in programming of PLC motion and logic using IEC 61131 and PLC open.
Experience with motion controllers (open to any). Development exp. / Real Time applications – Motion Control Motion Bus, Profi-bus and Function Block knowledge helpful..
Background knowledge in packaging, printing or other machine/automation applications. Experience in researching and writing detailed requirement specifications
