Reporting to the Admitting Team Lead, the PBX/Communications Operator handles all telephone calls whether internal or external, monitors code panels, notifies Engineering and/or Bio-Med as necessary for alarms or troubles, and as a courtesy takes physician calls after office hours and routes to the appropriate on-call physician.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to work effectively while unsupervised.
Must have excellent time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to successfully multitask.
Must have a strong proficiency with complex computer systems.
SHIFT: Please note this is a part-time, benefited position.
