PBX/Communications Operator Position Overview:
Reporting to the Admitting Team Lead, the PBX/Communications Operator handles all telephone calls whether internal or external, monitors code panels, notifies Engineering and/or Bio-Med as necessary for alarms or troubles, and as a courtesy takes physician calls after office hours and routes to the appropriate on-call physician.

Requirements: •
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. •
Previous experience preferred. •
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. •
Must have excellent customer service skills. •
Must be able to work effectively while unsupervised. •
Must have excellent time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to successfully multitask. •
Must have a strong proficiency with complex computer systems.

SHIFT: Please note this is a part-time, benefited position.
