This is a full-time lead generating position, and as such, the role has a base salary, commission program linked to performance, health care benefits, and the ability to advance quickly in a rapidly growing company. You will be accountable to the local sales team to deliver quality leads. A large portion of the commission compensation will be based on the sales team successfully completing a sale from the leads you generate.
This position allows you the freedom to manage your own schedule and the potential to earn commissions with no cap. Lead Generation Specialist's receive a company laptop, cell phone, and marketing materials.
Identify prospects using creative lead generating techniques
Speak with customers about the benefits of going solar with Astrum
Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and proficiently log all activities
Participate in weekly meeting/teleconference with the Regional Director of Sales
Attend training programs as necessary at Astrum HQ and other Astrum locations
Positive and passionate high energy professional
Honest and self-disciplined
Highly persuasive with a good understanding of the sales process
Experience selling intangible services in the B2C environment - such as energy sales, home security sales, membership sales, or fundraising (solar experience a plus)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
Experience in relevant computer applications, including spreadsheets and CRM
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and have a clean driving record
